WELCOME

Reflecting the Image began as a simple daily practice of opening Scripture, listening for God’s voice, and writing what I was learning. Over the years that simple discipline grew into more than two thousand reflections.

After a season of silence, the Lord gently called me back. A friend simply said, “I miss reading your posts.” It was enough to remind me that God’s Word still has more to teach me.

These reflections follow a simple pattern: Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer (SOAP), inspired years ago by Wayne Cordeiro’s The Divine Mentor. They are not academic essays or finished sermons. They are the record of one disciple learning to listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd.

My prayer is that, as you read, you too will spend time with the only wise God and be transformed into the image of Christ.

Scripture: Romans 12:20 No, “if your enemies are hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them something to drink; for by doing this you will heap burning coals on their heads.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (NRSVUE) Observation: Paul is admonishing the Roman believers to get along with one another.…

Does Anyone Have a Testimony?
